At the moment...(an update & alter egos)
There have been ups and downs and so many emotions I have felt in the past few months. I know that music is what I love and what I love is supposed to be something I enjoy. Unfortunately, it hasn't been like that for a while. I have felt that I have been portraying two or even three different people: The one who laughs at your jokes, (even if they suck), and tries to please everyone (Kit), the one who is secretly miserable but still is determined enough to not give up in a band (Kat), and the one who is incredibly angry at everything and anything you stick in her face and just wants to tell you off (Klutch).
What I'm saying is, some things have come to an end and ripped me apart, but still some little things have held me together.
For now, *all I want to have* is music.
All I want is someone to sit down with and play music with.
I don't want to have to argue or worry about anything.
I just want the music and the feeling of getting lost in it.
Is that too much to ask?

Believe In Dreams

Hey guys :)
The band hasn't had a practice in months! (how professional :-/). I'm starting to worry because in the summer, both our guitarists will be on vacation in other states, etc., therefore no practice time and may result in the band breaking up. It seems like I'm the only one serious about stuff lately.
Anyway, there's new videos up on YouTube, just me vlogging at the salute the troops 2010 concert. :) it was very cool and I had a lot of fun with one of my best friends, Melissa.
If you know me personally, you'll know that I am very hands-on. As well as music, I also write stories, and sometimes I like to design/deconstruct clothes. I was in a craft store and had a brainstorm for a shirt design for the band. (That is, if we ever get around to actually PRACTICING.)
To me, being in a band has always been a dream of mine, and it seems like nobody really looks at music the same way I do. They take it as a hobby, not a lifestyle. Even though things are going extremely slow, I know that I'll be able to work something out. :)

Continuing...
Hey Guys!
Sorry I haven't blogged in FOREVER! Just giving you guys an update on what's up with the band. We have a drum machine and a new bassist, Katie! We will be recording some videos for our YouTube soon. Be paitient! We don't have band practices that often but one will be planned soon. We are on facebook too! The link is on our YouTube page, of you can just search Ben In Yellow. ZOMG!
So today I was happily surprised to get a package in the mail from the one and only SKYE SWEETNAM! :D as you may know I am her BIGGEST FAN :). It contained the shirt that I won from her eBay auction, an autographed photo, her EP of sound soldier, and buttons :)
I am sooo happy right now :D I'm going to wear the shirt on Ben In Yellow's first performance.
